Whole30 Day One
Initially I had planned to start my 3rd round of The Whole30 Program on April 1st, but I thought what better day to start than today?! So today is Day One! I pretty much already know what and how I should be eating but sometimes, let’s be honest, I get lazy! There is no doubt that when I am eating clean, I feel and perform WAY better! I love getting down in the kitchen and discovering new recipes from all those cool Paleo websites.
I’ve chosen to blog about my experience because 1) my coach told me to as a way of holding myself accountable (I hesitated the first two times but third times the charm, right?); 2) I want to show others it is totally possible to eat real food; 3) to challenge myself to blog more, on a daily basis!
How do you best prepare for success?! Get your grocery shopping done, get rid of all the crap, and get cookin! Here are the good eats of the day:
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, sweet potato latkes from Everyday Paleo and some coconut butter
Lunch: 2 turkey patties over bed of mixed greens and avocado with oil and balsamic vinegar
Dinner: Roasted chicken and olives with a bowl of Butternut Squash Soup
